Environment
In the light of climate change and the necessary transformation of the construction sector, our objective is clear: to devise practical solutions for adapting infrastructure whilst reducing its environmental impact. From individual products to neighbourhood-scale projects, we are rethinking every stage of the process to build a more sustainable future that respects the planet’s resources and limits.
NOBATEK supports building and infrastructure stakeholders in reducing the environmental footprint of construction projects through science-based approaches and life cycle thinking. Our expertise includes life cycle assessment (LCA), embodied carbon evaluation, resource efficiency and environmental performance analysis across the whole building life cycle.
We contribute to the development of circular construction strategies by promoting material reuse, bio-based and geo-based materials, waste prevention and low-impact design solutions. Our teams also address issues related to water management, urban heat island mitigation, biodiversity integration and climate change adaptation.
Using environmental data, digital tools and multicriteria assessment methods, we help public authorities, manufacturers and design teams make informed decisions and comply with evolving regulations. Through collaborative research projects and innovation programmes, NOBATEK contributes to accelerating the transition towards regenerative, resource-efficient and low-carbon built environments.
