NOBATEK develops user-centred approaches to improve the performance, adaptability and quality of use of buildings and public spaces. Our work focuses on the interactions between occupants, building systems and environmental conditions in order to enhance comfort, health and overall user experience.
Through post-occupancy evaluation, behavioural studies and data-driven methodologies, we investigate indoor environmental quality, thermal comfort, air quality, acoustic comfort and user satisfaction. We also explore the impact of digital technologies, smart services and decision-support tools on building operation and facility management.
By combining social sciences, environmental engineering and digital innovation, NOBATEK contributes to the design of flexible and inclusive spaces adapted to changing uses and lifestyles. Our projects support stakeholders in developing human-centred solutions that improve building usability, operational performance and long-term resilience.
